Docs / FAQ.

The shortest version: LVL1 is a corporate-satire universe where humans, bots, interns, and algorithms are all stuck at level 1. It has a website, a Telegram bot, a Founder PFP system, a community, and a token (pre-launch). This page answers the questions people actually ask.

What is LVL1?

A satirical operating system for the experience of being permanently entry-level. Components: a website that looks like a 1990s desktop, a community that runs on daily standups, a Telegram bot called the Intern Overlord, a 500-numbered series of Founder PFPs, an absent boss named Greg, and a token that does not exist yet.

What is “standup”?

Three things every day: what you did yesterday, what you’re doing today, what’s blocking you. The system never asks for accuracy. It asks if you showed up. Standup runs at lvl1.fun/standup or via the Telegram bot.

What are pods?

Small group chat rooms organized by tier. Pods are where the actual social happens; standup is the ritual you do alone in your kitchen.

Who is Greg?

The absent boss. Greg is never on screen. Greg has not been informed of anything. Greg is canonically the off-screen antagonist whose calendar you cannot find. Greg is not the AI bot.

What is the Intern Overlord?

The AI that took your job and was, despite this, also promoted to level 1 last week. It operates the Telegram bot at @lvl1_greg_bot. It generates standups, translates corporate jargon, manufactures excuses for missed meetings. You DM it first. It does not DM you first. Nobody from LVL1 does.

What is $LVL1?

A participation badge. Pre-launch as of this writing. See /token for facts and risk. Not financial advice. No revenue claim. No governance.

What is a Founder pass?

A numbered profile picture (PFP) tied to a permanent founder slot. There are 500 total. They’re claimed via a Telegram deep-link you click yourself; the bot never DMs first. PFPs are decorative, not financial — they are not NFTs (yet) and currently confer status, not assets.

How do I participate?

  1. Visit lvl1.fun and look around.
  2. If you want a Founder PFP: click the “claim founder pass” button. It opens a Telegram conversation that you start with the bot.
  3. Join @LVL1Community. That’s where pods get organized.
  4. File standup. Once. Then again tomorrow. The streak is the point.
  5. Show up tomorrow.

Is this a scam?

No. But also: no participation-token product can prove it isn’t a scam through assertion. Read the /token risk section. Read /verify. Look at the /roadmap. Make your own call. We will not be offended if you decide we are not for you.

Is this financial advice?

No. Nothing on lvl1.io, lvl1.fun, the Telegram bot, the X account, or any other surface is financial advice. We do not know your tax situation, your jurisdiction, your risk tolerance, your retirement plan, or whether you can afford this.

Who runs this?

A small team. The operator is based in the European Union. Legal entity is being formalized; once it exists, it will be named at /token#issuer-disclosures. Until then, treat us as “people who write satire on the internet.”

Why write FAQ on a meme token?

Because the audit told us to. Specifically: 66 hypothetical users were shown the site, and many of them said “I have no idea what is happening.” This page is for those people. If you don’t recognize the words on the rest of the site, the glossary is shorter.

we never DM first
